About the Role

The Content Marketing Specialist at InvestorKit is a vital role that blends creative content development with strategic funnel management to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Reporting to the Marketing manager, this role is ideal for a skilled storyteller who is passionate about data-driven marketing and creating seamless customer journeys. You will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of content across multiple channels, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel content strategy that aligns with InvestorKit goals and brand voice, covering organic social media, email, paid ads, website/Landing Page content, Internal company assets and PR.
  • Create SEO-friendly, compelling content across all channels, from organic social posts and email marketing to ad copy and website pages, ensuring consistent messaging and maximising audience engagement.

Funnel Management & Optimisation

  • Collaborate with the tech, sales and greater marketing teams to map customer journeys, identify touch-points, and optimise content at every stage of the funnel using A/B testing frameworks.
  • Partner with the analytics team to continually refine and adjust content based on performance data, enhancing conversion rates and customer satisfaction throughout the funnel.

Campaign Development & Copywriting

  • Develop impactful, conversion-focused copy for paid ad campaigns, video scripts, and promotional emails, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with brand goals.
  • Ideate, script, and oversee video content creation for both organic and paid channels, driving awareness and engagement through storytelling.
  • Support marketing campaigns and sales conversion with persuasive copy for press releases, nurturing emails, and other customer communication across the business, enhancing visibility and building brand credibility.
  • Collaborate closely with the Research division to review reports and white papers, and translate into impactful marketing content with a strong call to action, designed to engage our audience and drive leads.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Work with the Media Buying & Analytics Specialist to track content performance and provide insights on key metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion rates, customer feedback) to inform content strategy adjustments.
  • Work with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure campaigns and individual content pieces are effectively managed and delivered in a timely manner without inaccuracies.
  • Stay updated on content marketing trends and best practices, utilising insights to improve strategies and align with emerging industry standards.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Collaborate with the marketing, tech, and analytics teams to ensure content aligns with company goals and supports customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Engage with external partners and consultants, when necessary, to optimise content performance and leverage industry insights.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management to ensure alignment on campaign objectives and strategic marketing initiatives.

Professional Development

  • Set aside time for ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest in content marketing and funnel optimisation trends.
  • Engage in industry webinars, workshops, and certification courses as needed to enhance skills relevant to content strategy, funnel management, and data-driven marketing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in content marketing, direct response copywriting, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing content creation and funnel optimisation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SEO, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and A/B testing frameworks.
    • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms like Google Ads and Meta, with experience in optimising ad copy for conversions.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled in analysing content performance data and applying insights to refine content strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, effective communication skills, with the ability to convey insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Growth-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to optimise content and campaigns for growth, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
